UAAV 003 – 2 Days Lake Mburo National Park Safari

2 Day tour to Lale Mburo National Park, an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of zebra, impala, eland and other ungulates. The park offers amazing game viewing opportunities and it is the best place to see Zebras and elands. Enroute to Lake Mburo National Park, enjoy photography at the Equator.

 

Day 1: Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park

Meet at your hotel and leave Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park. We shall have a stop at the Equator where you will perform a simple experiment to experience a tropical balance, have a look at the traditional drums and crafts being made, and thereafter proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of zebra, impala, eland and other ungulates. Bird viewing opportunities are excellent – for birders, this is one of the best places to find African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike. . After exploring the park in a car, drive to the lodge to check in and lunch, then head out for a boat ride after lunch that gives you the chance to view water animals like; Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and water birds including; Fish Eagles, Pelicans, Black crake, Heron, Cormorant, and the rare shoebill stork. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Explore Lake Mburo National Park– Kampala

After an early morning breakfast, explore the park with a game drive in search of animals like:  zebras, impalas, topis, buffalos, elands. Bird watching opportunities are excellent here, with about 313 bird species. After we shall head back to the lunch for an early lunch and drive back to Kampala.
